Job Overview:The Private Equity Finance Attorney will handle a diverse array of private equity sponsored financing transactions, encompassing various forms of leveraged financings, loan facilities, and mezzanine credit facilities. The role involves managing closing processes, drafting loan documents, and effective communication with clients and stakeholders. Duties:Work on a broad range of private equity sponsored financing transactionsManage closing processes for transactionsReview and draft loan documents, including commitment letters, term sheets, loan agreements, and collateral documentsCommunicate effectively with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third partiesProduce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence promptlyProvide timely, accurate, and high-quality work productMeet deadlines and expectations while performing required dutiesFoster positive work relationships within the firm and with clientsComply with all firm policies and practicesEngage in both physical and sedentary activities required for the rolePerform any other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned Requirements:Admitted to practice law in the state of TX1+ years of experience in private equity sponsored leveraged acquisition finance transactionsDirect and applicable experience in an AmLaw 100 law firm or SECJ.D. degree Desired Skills and Qualifications:Prior experience with borrower-side representation preferredExperience with lender-side representation, especially with private credit lenders, is desiredPrivate equity borrower-side representation experience is a plus This Amlaw firm is best known for allowing its associates to find a balanced work load that best suites them.
