We currently have an exciting opportunity within our Bowmanville Cement operations an Electrician working in the Electrical Maintenance Department. As an integral part of the maintenance team, this position is works proactively with to promote a culture that values operational excellence. Our team is dedicated to quality and safety, as part of this you will play a key role in PLC programming and the repair, installation, and troubleshooting of electrical drives and equipment within our highly automated facility consisting of state-of-the-art electrical control systems. Compensation: $41.62 per hour, shift premium, skilled trade premium, Sunday premium, paid overtime, pension with contribution matching. Successful candidate must have the following: Current Certificate of Qualification Experience in PLC programming and repair Knowledge of motors, drivers, switches, and hi-voltage Ability to troubleshoot electrical drives and equipment Ability to work as part of our 12-hour shift crew is essential We thank all applicants in advance for their interest in this position; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
