The Senior Director, Global Product Portfolio Corn and PLM Excellence, TS Food is responsible for the product management of all Food Corn Starches Texture Solutions, which are Ingredion Global Texture Solution (GTS) biggest line of products . The GTS reporting segment is $2.4 billion in net sales. As part of a global team, this role contributes to the realization of Ingredion Winning Aspiration to be the customer-preferred texturizing and healthful solutions supplier and thought leader through our broad portfolio, extensive customer insight and market-leading cost-in-use position that addresses consumer expectations spanning affordability, premiumization and/or clean label requirements. Core Responsibilities: Drive the business based on Regular portfolio performance analysis: monitor and steer profitability and manage portfolio lifecycle.Deliver short & medium-long term value creating opportunities, e.g., investments for growth opportunities, new applications, portfolio expansions, new value propositions, etc.Drive 5 years strategic plan of the portfolio: identify long term demand trends and build business case for asset investments.Coordinate Ingredion approach and strategy for clean label texturizers with input from other stakeholders.Support the development and execution of critical projects and commercialization strategies across geographics and categories.Provide pricing guardrails and target margins per geography and product group to regions and Pricing Centers of Excellence (CoE).Interpret the competitive and go-to-market intelligence as it relates to specific product portfolios, providing recommendations on product line rationalization, harmonization, and retirementGlobal Subject Matter Expert (SME) on portfolio: elaborate Value Propositions as support of Marketing Communication and Pricing strategies.Decision maker of the product allocation at constrained assets - working with the Product Line Managers (PLM) and Supply Chain.Qualified candidates will have: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering or equivalent, or Business Degree. MBA preferred.Significant food or chemical industry experience with strong business and financial acumenStrong background in business development. Capable of understanding customers' needs and ability to capture subsequent value through solutions.Ability to develop and execute business strategies for product lines and portfolio.Experience managing a global team.Flexibility to travel globally approximately 15-25% of time.English fluency, both written and spoken.Required behaviors and skills: Solid Financial acumen, strategic thinker, with strong facilitation, problem-solving and issue resolution skillsHighly collaborative with strong communication and relationship management skillsResults orientation with sense of urgency and execution.Translates business strategies into actionable plans by leveraging market and functional knowledge.We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
