Classic Conn 71 bass bone. Production date: 1970. (Serial N12941)This is a pro model horn played and owned by a trombonist. It is a full sized bass trombone, not a tenor. Rotor functions excellently. Hand slide action is excellent even with the dent in the bottom U-connector. This dent surprisingly does not seem to affect the sound adversely. I’ve used this horn very successfully in several concerts. No plating loss on inner slide tubes. Beautiful classic Conn tone. Also a small ding in the lead pipe, but mouthpiece sits in it correctly without any shimmy. Located in Dunedin, FL.
