Luxury Hotel Security Officer Schedule: Saturday- Sunday Shifts: 7:00am - 3:00pm (1 Opening)3:00pm - 11:00pm (2 Opening)11:00pm - 7:00am (2 Openings) Location: Boston, MA Pay range: $24.50 - $27. 00 Hourly Signal of New England is currently on the lookout for a dynamic and customer-centric Security Officer to join our esteemed team at one of our flagship sites nestled in the heart of Downtown Boston, only a three minute walk from the Back Bay Station. Situated in a luxurious 5-Star hotel, you'll enjoy the privilege of working in a deluxe environment, offering unparalleled service and security. In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate closely with a dedicated team and hotel staff, synergizing efforts to enhance the guest experience with utmost professionalism and discretion. Your primary station will be at the security office and postings throughout the building while conducting rounds. Where you'll deliver top-tier safety and security services, ensuring a seamless and secure environment for all patrons. Responsibilities The selected individual will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons Assess and de-escalate sensitive situations in a discrete manner Write incident and accident reports, monitor investigations to their timely conclusion, and ensure appropriate follow-up with guests, visitors, and employees, documenting all contacts Monitor security systems and camera, conducting visual property inspections Initiate and follow up with police regarding all investigations of crimes committed against property and persons Maintain accurate records while performing basic duties including, but not limited to, camera monitoring, shift activity log, codebook, and employee/guest interactions Qualifications Excellent written, communication & interpersonal skills Able to stand for long periods of time Professional attire is required (must wear own suit and tie) 1-3 years experience in high end customer service (hospitality, events, luxury retails etc..)
