The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, exceptional communication skills, and a strong foundation in bankruptcy law.Duties:Prepare Federal and State legal documents such as pleadings (including motions, briefs, responses, complaints, etc.), proofs of claim, summonses, and discovery-related documents.Research and analyze law sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, treaties, constitutions, and legal codes.Perform research and cite check using Lexis and Westlaw.Conduct research and prepare information for various evidentiary hearings in federal and state court cases.Prepare for and attend trials, hearings, and depositions to support and assist other attorneys.Handle routine calls and correspondence to and from attorneys, trustees, debtors, clients, and the Courts.Requirements:Must be licensed or eligible to be immediately licensed in North Carolina.2-4 years of experience in business bankruptcy, insolvency, and related litigation.Excellent academic credentials.Outstanding written and oral communication skills.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the State Bar of North Carolina.Skills:Proficiency in legal research tools such as Lexis and Westlaw.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Attention to detail and accuracy in legal documentation.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Collaboration and teamwork capabilities.
