Saturn is a very excitable puppy who will be absolutely thrilled to meet you. He is happy and loves everyone. He was found as a stray and was friendly and playful with the resident dog in the home. He rode calmly in his finder's car and walks surprisingly well on a leash for one so young. Chewing the leash is a favorite activity of his. He weighs 20 pounds and plans to grow much more. He is extremely high energy and will need lots of activities to keep him stimulated. He may know nothing about house training to please help him learn. He is jumpy and quiet. He loves to explore and is very alert. Lovable Saturn will be extremely happy if you'd offer him the home, attention, and training he needs. (tw 3/21/2024)Adoption processPet Adoption FeesCAP adoption fees include a variety of services - age-appropriate vaccinations, canine heartworm, and feline leukemia tests, spaying/neutering, deworming treatment, microchipping to name a few - the total value of which exceeds $450. These minimal adoption fees cover only part of each animal's stay at our shelter - please help us keep adoption fees low while maintaining the high quality of care for the animals in our charge by donating and/or volunteering. Call for information on animals not listed here. Dogs A second dog or puppy, adopted within 30 days of the first adoption receives a $20 discount. Dogs (over 15 lbs) $105 Puppies (6 months & younger) $135 Small dogs (15 lbs & under) $135 Cats A second cat or kitten, when adopted within 30 days is free Cats (6 months - 5 years) $55 Kittens ( 6 months & younger) $85 Senior Cats (5+ years) $30 Small Mammals Rabbit (can adopt 2 for 1) $50 Guinea Pig (one) $20 Guinea Pigs (two) $30 Ferrets $90 Hamsters/Rats/Gerbils (can adopt 2 for 1) $10 Special DiscountsSeniors for Seniors - Special Senior Citizen (60 yrs +) No charge for an animal 7 yrs or older.Military Families - 50% of adoption fees waived for military personnel and veterans.
