For more information about Celanese and our products please visit www.celanese.com **Position: R&D Process Technician**The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting Acetate T&I engineers by conducting both standard and specialized trials within our pilot plants, process labs, and production areas. This role demands a proactive approach to independently plan, procure, set up, and adapt equipment and instrumentation for trial execution. Effective communication with Celanese and external partners is essential. The specialist will compile data and present findings, collaborating closely with engineers, technicians, EHS staff, operations, designers, vendors, and project teams. Occasional travel to various Celanese locations, as well as supplier, customer, and toller facilities, may be required to support projects and manufacturing operations.Qualifications:- High School Diploma or equivalent- 3-5 years of relevant industry experience- Proven experience in Manufacturing, Process Laboratory, or Pilot Plant operations- Familiarity with Acetate Manufacturing processes, quality standards, and product specifications is preferred- Exceptional safety consciousness and mechanical aptitude, coupled with advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities- A self-driven individual who thrives on new challenges, works effectively with diverse teams, and possesses excellent interpersonal and organizational skills- Capable of managing multiple tasks autonomously under tight deadlines-Computer skills and the effective use of Microsoft Office products relating to data manipulation and report generation are required.We are looking for a dedicated individual who aligns with our commitment to excellence and innovation.
