Was fine with cats when they had cats, but they haven’t had a cat in 2 years.Aggression or medical issues?: NEEDS HIP SURGERY (roughly a 5k surgery). She is currently on 3 medications a day while owner was trying to save up money to get her surgery (meds are 70 every month and a half). This is not going to be possible now because of below situation. Strictly leash walking – no running, while waiting for surgery.Reason for rehoming?: grandchild is having to go through aggressive chemotherapy in Charleston and owner’s are having to stay down there with her and unable to care for the dogs. She will be going out of town again on Friday and unsure when she is able to return again.Would you like alternative rescue help?: YESHouse/crate trained?: yes to bothAdditional info/story (personality):She is very sweet. Not trained to hunt or anything like that. Doesn’t have to be crated when left alone, but would advise doing this at first until she gets adjusted to the routine.Message/comment if interested.
