Location: Lexington, SCName: MorticiaAge: ~3 yearsBreed: DSH - Black with a bit of whiteM/F: FSpayed/Neutered/Shots: TNR fixed last week (spayed, fvrcp, rabies, ear tip, tattoo)Good with dogs, cats, and/or kids: read below 2 sectionsAggression or medical issues?: none noted but is only “semi-friendly” at this time - only tolerates pets in window or on cat tower. She will run and hide if anywhere else in the room and I attempt to go towards her. Has room to make progress though and has never scratched, hissed, or any behaviors as such. Just not used to indoor life. Reason for rehoming?: was contacted to TNR and relocate her as she was in an unsafe location. She will be kept indoors entirely for 6 weeks to adjust to the property before being relocated to my indoor/outdoor room (4/24) unless she shows any major behavioral issues. Will still be available for adoption after this date, but no promise I will be able to easily contain her again after this.Additional info/story (personality):As stated above, she was a TNR that is only semi-friendly at this time but has room for further progress if someone can dedicate the time with her. Has shown no direct aggression in any way, just not used to people much.Message/comment if interested. Adoption application & contract required to ensure good home.Adoption processWe have both an online application form and print-out application form available for use. Applications are normally reviewed within 24 hours of being sent in.Shelter locationWe are foster based only at this time. Meet and greets for dogs must be scheduled in advance.Meet and greets for cats are near impossible normally because we all foster/house both cats and dogs and the dogs "go off" when visitors come over making all the cats hide.
