Pietro is a big, 65-pound, 2 yr-old, red fawn male greyhound. He came to Operation Greyhound on June 15, 2023 from a race track. Pietro had no races. He is recovering physically and emotionally from the stress of the racing environment. He is shy and is now developing a trust for people. Pietro definitely will need a safe, secure, and loving home. He enjoys playing with other greyhounds and a home companion would give him extra confidence. He has not yet been tested for compatibility with cats or small dogs, so caution should be used when exposing him to either. Pietro has been neutered, had his teeth cleaned, been microchipped, and has received his vaccinations. He is not ready as of this date to go to his forever home.
