This position will be responsible for..... * Analyzing and improving current work processes and layouts * Measuring and documenting best practices and providing assistance to our new business development team. * Reviewing existing operations * Documenting product and information flow in current operations using tools including value stream map * Process flow diagrams and AutoCAD drawings * Review order volume and storage volume data to support operational decisions * Develop recommendations for process improvements * Support the implementation of the recommendationsYou might be a great fit if....Education/Experience * Minimum Sophomore status in Engineering field of study * Demonstrated leadership skills * Strong communication and problem solving skills * Self-motivatedPhysical/Cognitive RequirementsWith or without accommodation: * Ability to follow policies and procedures. * Ability to read, write and interpret technical information. * Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. * Ability to use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel. * Ability to sit/walk/stand for up to 8 hours per day. * Must possess visual acuity, i.e., close, distance, and color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focusFedEx Supply Chain, Inc., as well as its subsidiary companies, is an equal opportunity employer.
