Diamond is a happy lady who is back in the shelter after a short stay in a foster home. She was a quiet houseguest who did well with older kids in the home and when meeting younger kiddos out and about in the neighborhood. Her foster family said she is very well behaved- though she did steal a biscuit off the counter once. Sometimes the temptation is just too strong to resist!! Diamond loves to be near her people and was described as being gentle and mellow. She was housebroken in her foster home and slept well through the night. Diamond also loves to play! Her foster said that she loves to go on walks, but also excels at a long game of fetch or some chew time with a bone. They said that she’s a perfect mix of energy because she loves to play but then will settle down and be chill and mellow. They also thought that Diamond might make a great running buddy.“She is such a loving dog. I have only had her a week and she is so loyal and follows me around. A sweet girl who would love a loving forever home very soon!!”Diamond is also popular at the shelter- here’s what one volunteer said:“Diamond was a great walking companion yesterday. She is easy to leash and to walk and we brought her and her kennelmate to the yard where they both quietly explored. They got along great, took treats together without any problem and Diamond not only knows sit but also paw! Sweet gentle girl.”Diamond has been a bit nervous but tolerant when meeting other dogs, warming up with a bit of time. She’ll likely to best in a home without cats. Ask to meet Diamond today!!
