We have enjoyed fostering her and have learned lots about her.LOVES HER PEOPLE: Callie has the sweetest personality. She loves her people and is a big helper with all the chores around the house. You never feel lonely with Callie around. She falls asleep on the couch in one of our laps every night.SAFE TO LEAVE UNATTENDED: Even though she loves her people, Callie is great in the house when we leave. She can hang out in the house when we are gone and doesn`t cause any problems. She also does well in the crate at night. She is housetrained.GOOD SHOPPER:Callie does a great job in pet stores! She is appropriate with the other shoppers and their dogs. On the way home, she loves to stop at McDonald’s. She takes hamburgers and other treats gently.LOVES THE OUTDOORS:Callie loves to be out in the fenced yard playing fetch or chasing squirrels. She also loves to go on hikes and to play in lakes and streams. She doesn’t pull on the leash when she walks except for if she sees another dog. With a bit of distance and a few treats, she goes by easily.ENTHUSIASTIC PUP:Callie’s love of life is fun to watch. She will greet you with tons of love when you come home! Her love will include some jumping up which is fine for adults, but it may be too much for little kids. She loves our grandchildren, so we keep her on a leash when they are over and she does fine.She is also overly enthusiastic when she plays with other dogs, and some dogs don’t appreciate it.SHY GIRL:Callie wants to love new people, but she is a shy girl. She is happy to walk by strangers, and to stop to listen to them talk about her beautiful eyes, but she scoots away when they reach to pet her. Treats and time have helped her to make progress with her shyness.
