Poor Vaxel has had a rough go of it - left abandoned, picked up by animal control, and brought to the shelter to be poked and prodded. Vaxel was very scared when he first arrived, but after spending time with the staff and volunteers at YWAC, he is starting to come out of his shell. He enjoys going on walks outside and socializing with other dogs in the gentle playgroup. Since he is still learning to be brave, he would like to meet any canine companions before going home, and would prefer a home with adults or older kids that can go slow with him.
