Sourcing & Procurement Director Responsibilities: International sourcing experience. Lead of Sourcing for subsidary for the related Commodity Groups Experience sourcing Steel/Steel fabricated parts. Identification and Analysis of new Sourcing-Markets Analytical, Dynamic and Focused on business priorities Global organization experience Strong Leadership skills (communication, results driven, employee performance management, employee development, etc.) Strong S&P technical skills (contract negotiation, insourcing, outsourcing, supplier performance management, etc.) Personnel Management (disciplinary and technical) of Local Commodity Manager and Local Buyer at subsidiary Tasked to present the targets and requirements of the subsidiary and to align with the targets of Rittal Global Sourcing and Global Commodity Management Responsibility to achieve the local targets Ensure the strategic and tactical material availability of related Commodity Groups for all demanding stake holders at subsidiary Variance and gap analysis of skill set Sourcing-Team and Sourcing Employees including training- and development-plans Identification and Implementation of necessary Sourcing Tools Further Development of Sourcing- and Commodity Strategies International Cooperation within the global Rittal Sourcing Organization Proactive reporting of significant Sourcing-Market Developments to Stakeholder Active Support of Implementation of local Project management-Structures Knowledge & Experience: Master’s degree in business/Engineering or Science preferable Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sourcing and Leadership experience Experience in technical environment (e.g. Technical Sourcing, Design) Good Knowledge of Sourcing-Technic, methods, processes and strategies Good Skills in Communication and Assertiveness Strong analytic skills and Team Skills What we offer is an opportunity to be a part of a team that increases the optimization and efficiency of our Global Company.
