Say hello to Nova!Nova is a 2 year-old Pitbull mix who weighs 62 lbs! Nova is a bundle of joy who aims to please and can't wait to entertain her new family. She is a bouncy fun loving pup who enjoys playing with toys and going on walks. She also wouldn't mind curling up with her favorite person for a good nap. Nova does well with most dogs and wouldn't mind living with one in her forever home as long as they are willing to play with her! Since she is such a social butterfly, she shows potential to live in a home with children ages 10 and older. Nova has lived with cats in the past and did not do well, so she needs to live in a home with no cats. If Nova sounds like she might be a good fit please give us a call at: 330-487-XXXX ext.226 to schedule a time to meet her!Adoption processAll of our adoptable animals are up-to-date on all age appropriate vaccinations, spayed or neutered, de-wormed, de-flea and microchipped before adoptions are finalized. All dogs over six months of age receive a temperament assessment by our Certified Professional Dog Trainer to ensure appropriate placement. Also, many animals in our care receive basic obedience training to improve manners and increase adoptability. We are currently doing adoptions by appointment only. Adoption Fees:Dogs6 months or under: $1756 months to 5 years: $1256 years or older (or special needs): $50 Cats6 months or under: $75 (or two kittens for $100)6 months to 5 years: $506 years or older (or special needs): $20 Senior to Senior Program: For adopters age 60 or older, adoption fees are reduced to $15 if the animal is 3 years or older. This service is made possible through the Pets for the Elderly Foundation. You will be asked to provide proof of age.
