You are so lucky to be getting a greeting from Dylan! This sweet as can be kitty is a 13 year old neutered male tiger cat. He is a cuddle bug that is more than happy snuggling with you on the couch while you binge your favorite shows, and sprawl out in a sunbeam when you have things to do. He is a lounger and does not play much these days, but he appreciates the option of toy mice & crinkle balls.We think Dylan would be happiest as the only animal in his family, and with older cat-savvy children. The reason we say this is because our good friend Dylan has chronic URI (upper respiratory infection) which flares up when he is stressed. Without the factors of other animals and children unable to give him space, he should remain as stress free as possible and have few symptoms. Chronic URI does not require any treatment, and all the extra care he would need is a good diet & regular yearly vet visits. His sweet personality is well worth the couple of sneezes you may hear! To keep him stress-free, Dylan is staying in foster care until he finds his new forever family, so follow the steps below to be the luckiest person & adopt him!Our shelter is open every day from 12-4, closed on Mondays. A valid ID is required. If you own your own home, please provide proof of home-ownership; a mortgage receipt, tax bill, water bill or deed will suffice. If you rent, please bring your lease which states the type of pet you are interested in and that it is accepted or the name and phone of your landlord so we can verify the pet is allowed. Inquire with your landlord about any size or breed restrictions. Please check with your home owner’s insurance company or landlord to find out if they have any restrictions on the breed(s) of dog they cover. Common breeds that may not be covered include: Pit Bulls, Doberman Pinschers, Rottweilers and German Shepherds. For the health and safety of the pet you are interested in adopting and your existing pets, we ask that you provide proof of current vaccinations and spay/neuter status for pets in your home. (We may be able to call your veterinarian if you do not have a copy available.) A new pet is a family decision and we ask that all members of your family meet the pet and agree on the suitability for your household. If you already have a dog(s) in your home please bring the dog(s) with you to meet the dog you are considering to see if they are compatible.
