Reese is a stunning puppy with beautiful eyes who was left at the shelter at just 7 months old. On her intake photos, she was underweight with overgrown nails and urine stains on her feet. But that’s all in her past. In the last couple of weeks in her foster home, she has gained enough weight to be the squishy puppy she was meant to be. She did great with her first bath and was only mostly difficult with her first nail trim. Reese is mostly medium energy but has her occasional high energy puppy zoomies. She is currently living with 2 large dogs, male and female, and gets along great with both. The large dogs are helping socialize her and teach her how to be a dog. Reese has some separation anxiety in her crate but she’s been doing better being crated next to the other dogs in their crates and is quickly learning crating is a part of the house routine. Reese is mostly potty trained. She is down to about one potty accident a day. Putting her on a regular potty schedule has helped a lot and her future family would need to continue both her crate and potty training. Reese has not been exposed to kids or cats and it is currently unknown how she’d do with either. Reese loves humans and will happily snuggle into your blanket as you watch your favorite shows on TV. She also gets really excited for car rides. I’ve been putting her in my car at night when I drive the incredibly scenic route from my driveway into my garage. She’s all smiles the entire time. She gets out of the car like you just brought her to Disney land. It’s hilarious how easy she is to entertain. Reese is a really special puppy and deserves an amazing forever family.
