Senior Accountant Job Duties: Serve as the corporate accountant, responsible for preparing financial statements on the corporate side. Review and audit financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. Handle journal entries, accounts payable (A/P), and process cash receipts. This includes overseeing invoice processing. Manage books and internal accounting processes. While bookkeeping skills are expected, they should come as second nature. Utilize your experience in subsidiary and general ledger accounting to maintain accurate financial records. While not required, prior experience in construction manufacturing will be advantageous. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy of financial data and reports. Qualifications: Manufacturing/construction industry experience is required, and one must have the skills to be eligible. Must be comfortable commuting to Brooklyn, NY (Sunset Park) on a hybrid model for the hybrid schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote. Experience working with any ERP softwares - Viewpoint Vista experience a plus. Proven experience in accounting roles, with demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, audit, and general accounting functions. Proficiency in financial software and tools, along with advanced Excel skills. Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Benefits: Employee accrue 8 vacation days or 64 hours each anniversary 7 Sick days or up to 56 hrs. - Based upon NYC guidelines After 90 days of employment you will be entitled to Medical, Dental and Vision insurance.
