Cost AccountantWentzville, MO (100% Onsite)Contract to HireMax pay $32.00/hour (Plus Extra Overtime Eligible 1.5x pay rate)Fully on siteAccounting Specialist WENTZVILLE, MOQualifications: --- Bachelor's degree with concentration in Accounting and 4+ years of consistent experience in an accounting-related area. --- Knowledge of the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) as they apply to financial reporting. --- Ability to analyze and interpret financial and accounting records as needed to make reporting decisions. --- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) --- Experience with SAP, HFM, Coupa a plus --- Communicating and tracking capital expenditures with department managers --- Forecasting capital expenditures in balance sheet and cash flow --- Tracking and analyzing purchase orders, invoices, etc. for capital projects --- Placing fixed assets into service in Fixed Asset System and forecasting depreciation --- Maintaining fixed asset ledger & reviewing idle assets --- Understanding bill of materials & CBR (component-based releases) --- Supporting Cost Analysis team's functions --- Preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for month-end close --- Supporting financial forecast and budget preparation --- Performing financial variance analysis and trend analysis for income statement and balance sheet --- Participating in SOX compliance, internal, & external audits --- Leading quarterly bill of material audits for finished goods --- Assisting with annual budget preparation --- Researching and resolving accounting issues with applicable departmentsPlease send qualified resume to: kbarrymore judge.com
