Nara is a handsome boy! He is a 3-year-old, 13.8 pounds, red, Terrier mix.He has a scruffy coat that should be easy care. He has a twinkle in his eyesthat says "fun". His name means LOVE and he is a loving boy. He wassurrendered to the sanctuary with his sister Nara (Nina) and 3 puppies.Their family was unable to provide for the dogs financially and emotionally.We do know that their future will be filled with love! He is slightly shybut friendly. He is enjoying life at the sanctuary, especially the comfortof a warm bed and regular meals. He enjoys his quality time and would loveto snuggle on your couch during the day and in your bed at night. He seemsto prefer to be next to you instead of on you. Can you spoil him and teachhim to be a lap dog? He is housebroken and will go to the door to let youknow he needs out. We expect accidents in a new environment. Here at thesanctuary, he is happy to follow the other dogs out with the command "GoPotty". This is a good habit to continue at home. Nero will require someleash training. He knows the commands Sit, Stay and Come. A work from homeperson will be best suited for Nara. He can climb a fence so please have asecurely fenced yard. He is microchipped and currently vaccinated. He hasbeen neutered and vaccinated as well as micro-chipped. Nero is a wonderfulcompanion.
