Sophia has a sad story to tell but her life now is very different. She was abandoned with kittens and rescued just in time to make sure her kittens survived. She's 2 yrs. old and has a very pretty Calico coat. She is still a little shy but starting to accept people who want to love her and her kittens. If giving a sweet cat a wonderful forever home is your wish, come and meet Sophia and get ready to fall in love.To see Sophia by APPOINTMENT ONLY, submit an online cat adoption application at http://hsfc.org/adoptions/applications/online/. An adoption counselor will contact you--typically within three business days--to discuss with you the type of cat you are looking for and to see whether we have a good match for you. Our counselor will discuss the next steps afterward.Our dogs and horses are NOT at the HSFC shelter at 4057 Chain Bridge Road, Fairfax, VA--only our cats, birds, rabbits, and small mammals can be visited there. Our dogs and horses are housed at our private farm in Centreville.
