Lucy is a black and tan corgi mix about 9 years old whose long-time owner has moved to a senior apt. and cannot have a dog. Lucy would be best with older children and adults, is crate-trained, and is housebroken. She will stare at you when she is hungry or wants to go out. Lucy will do best as an only dog as she was the center of her previous owners world and is set in her ways. Lucy's favorite pastime is lying by a window to watch the world go by, ever alert for passing FedEx trucks or lawn maintenance guys to bark at. She enjoys her walks and will trot at a good pace after sniffing every doggie spot. Indoors she loves zooming around the house with a favorite toy in her mouth. She enjoys meeting other dogs and develops doggie best friends. In the morning, she loves to snuggle up close while you drink your coffee in bed and look up at you with adoring eyes. She likes being brushed and does have a thick coat of hair. One of her favorite activities is hunting for Kleenex and cardboard boxes to chew up. Thunder and lightning scare her, but her special collar helps with that.
