Did you know there's a cartoonist for The New Yorker named Farley Katz? How purr-fect is that? There may be some funny things about having a cat. However, being a cat with CH - cerebellar hypoplasia - is not funny. While I may look "wonky" when I walk, it's something I can't control because part of my brain was underdeveloped at birth, and because this is a congenital condition, it cannot be changed. Fortunately, my CH is mild, and I'm just a bit wobbly. You may need to watch that I don't bump into things, and especially, watch out for stairs! I'm a very gentle boy who, according to my foster mom, is "a big love." I'm one of 15 cats who were part of a TNR group. We stayed in a foster home after we were neutered/spayed until we could come into the shelter. I'm a 9-month-old, medium-haired orange tabby boy who's very sweet and loving. I'm a good eater, and my litter box habits are "perfect," says my foster mom. And, like all the other orange kitties in the group, I love attention, which includes brushing. We medium-haired kitties need our coats groomed to keep them from matting. For a lovable, fluffy friend, I hope you'll choose Farley!
