Sparky was surrendered by his owner due to incompatibility with another chihuahua. Sparky's housemate is 14, in heart failure, with no teeth and little energy. Apparently Sparky didn't understand those limitations, as he constantly annoyed her by wanting to play. Well, he's a kid, so that's not unusual. Sparky has apparently not been potty trained, but the owner believes it is because he didn't get enough attention. Contrary to some people's beliefs, there are lots of small housebroken dogs. His nickname was Sparky the Barky. We assume that means he might be vocal when excited? His owner said he is ready for the day everyday. He loves playing with children and does well with other dogs. Sparky loves food (who doesn't?) and is good with cats. Email XXXX@hsscg.org for an appointment to meet Sparky. You can also come in 11 to 4 Tuesday through Saturday. Sparky is neutered, microchipped, current on core vaccines and has tested negative for heartworms.
