Louie Chihuahua Puppy Male

Little man "Louie" is young boy, our vet estimates him to be 4-6months old. He is friendly, fun-loving, playful, curious and sweet. He gets along well with all the other dogs at our rescue (of all shapes and sizes), and loves to play games of tag and chase with the others. He was a dumped puppy, turned out on the streets of Houston to fend for himself. Found wandering from house to house begging for food, we were contacted to take him in and find him a new family. He has been enjoying regular meals on a daily basis now. He has adapted well to the daily house routines and seems to be more or less house trained, he readily goes to the bathroom outside after meals. Louie has been microchipped and has his first round of vaccines (Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, Lepto, Bordetella & Deworming). He is scheduled to be neutered March 13 & will be available for adoption after this date. His adoption fee covers all of these basic costs, as well as transport to his new home. We can transport him anywhere in the United States on Southwest Airlines. If you live near a city that Southwest flies to, we can get Louie to you. He is still a puppy and would do well in a home that is looking for a dog to grow up with, he has many fun years ahead of him! He seems to be easily trainable, observant, and a quick learner. He enjoys playing with other dogs and it is great exercise for him, preference will be given to a family with other dogs for Louie to socialize with. His best friend at the rescue is another young chi/terrier mix who matches his energy, they keep each other entertained and occupied. We are guessing he is a chihuahua mixed with dachsund, terrier...or some other sort of small breed dog. Do you have the space in your home for this sweet, young, gentle boy to grow up in?
