Annabelle is an excitable social butterfly who thrives on companionship. She doesn't like being by herself. She is affectionate and loves being petted and giving kisses. She is the perfect cuddle partner. A foster mom said she made her home more loving and lively. She is definitely a pro at both! She now weighs 43 pounds and is very active. She likes to stay busy and can play all day long. She enjoys car rides, running, toys, water (but not baths), chase, tugging, and walks. She'll want to lead while on a leash. While off leash she might run away but she'll come back when you call her. She has learned the sit, down, off, and no commands. She can be mischievous and got into trouble for chewing, jumping, and digging. She started to learn about house training in a foster home and was progressing so nicely that she had free roam of the house. She walked in circles and sniffed when she needed to go out. With a recent adopter she lived outside so she'll need a refresher course. She was returned because she was too strong for her elderly adopters. With other dogs, she is easygoing, friendly, and playful. She behaves equally well with children of all ages. Annabelle is an amazing, lovable girl who will entertain you and never fail to make you laugh. These minimal adoption fees cover only part of each animal's stay at our shelter - please help us keep adoption fees low while maintaining the high quality of care for the animals in our charge by donating and/or volunteering.
