If you are in the market for a young, GENTLE, all around prospect Remi is your guy. I truly cannot say enough good things about this gelding. He has been a pleasure to have around and will be an asset to anyoneâs program. Remi stands 14.1 hh tall, at 4 coming 5 years old. 4 solid black bare feet. Donât let his size fool you, he truly doesnât feel small under you or look like it when youâre on. Heâs got a great little build to him, kind eye. I have hauled him out on his own, seen a cool place to ride, pulled over saddled him up and went on our adventure. He will go wherever you ask. He is not at all barn or buddy sour. Rides thru town, not afraid of cars, bikes, etc. will cross thru water, puddles, lines in the road, bridges you name it. He walks with a very low head set, not in a hurry kinda pace. Stands to mount, yes even for a mounting block which I do not own but I used when I went to a friends house lol. Loads great, hauls quiet, you can stop to grab a bite to eat and he will be patiently waiting for the next stop. He is on pasture with another gelding, easy keeper, very easy to catch. He is not a stalled show horse, but he is pampered and blanketed every day! Saddles and bridles up. Iâve hauled this horse many places and he rides the exact same every time and every where. Big groups of horses , heâs been hauled to ropings, he has tracked and pushed cattle in a field, has had a rope swung on him, music playing, banners, announcers, the whole shabang. Walk trot lope in the arena, he is not the absolute fanciest right now but heâs learning all the buttons. Picks up his leads, still two hand guidance circles, stops, backs, turns around great, rolls back on his hocks and really uses himself correctly. Follows his nose around great, learning to neck rein. Iâve lead my son around on him, Iâm very picky about what I put him on. This horse has not a mean bone in his body, absolutely no buck bolt rear. Heâd be the perfect horse for a junior/ high school rodeo kid to finish out, get him going on the heel side, or have yourself just a safe honest trail partner. I stand behind him to be everything I say, and I am doing my best to make sure I get everything he has done in his video in some way!
