Meet Freddie! AKA Fredmund. Freddie was a stray brought in to Heal Vet Clinic last September because his feeder noted he had a zip tie around his neck and his front leg which caused injuries to his body. Freddie received comprehensive treatment to get him back to health. After about 3 months of being cared for by Heal, Freddie decided humans were OK and slowly has become a friendly boy. Now Freddie is fully healed and ready for a real home. Freddie is a unique kitty, he is friendly and cuddly, but has been mistreated by humans in the past and either feral, or in a cage his entire life. Large spaces, new people, and commotion can be overwhelming for him. He is looking for a quiet home that will be patient as he adjusts, he likely will regress and be very shy at first. His medical care is up to date. He is missing many teeth that were diseased and thus removed. He is also FIV positive and thus should be in a home where he is the only cat, or with other cats he doesn't fight with. FIV does not affect humans or dogs. Cats with FIV often have similar life spans to cats without it and can remain asymptomatic for their entire life-span.
