Job Title Senior Electrical Engineer - Product Sourcing Job Description Product Sourcing Engineer: The Product Sourcing Engineer (PSE) supports the Ultrasound Business annual operation plan by leading cross-functional procurement activities involving new product introduction, supply chain risk mitigation and productivity improvements. Your role: Drives manufacturability/value/cost engineering activities within DFX (Design for eXcellence) conventions and Value Engineering workshops.Partners with R&D, representing Procurement in New Product Introduction projects Responsible to develop, communicate, and manage detailed procurement activity schedules that support higher level program schedules, ensuring communication within purchasing and cross functional stake holders. Partners with Supplier Quality and Executes Advanced Product Quality Plan (APQP) factory related supplier improvement actions Manages Product Costs within assigned commodity. Develops / maintains Should Cost Modeling to achieve challenging cost reduction goals. You're the right fit if: You've a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.You've 10+ years' experience in hardware design and/or matrixed manufacturing with a focus on supply chain and/or procurement related function. You've deep experience in understanding technical product requirements and translating it to minimize life cycle product costYour skills include, practical knowledge of Supply Chain management strategies and tools. . Experience with cost engineering and cost management.You have the ability to lead teams and influence cross-functional relationships.You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Office/Remote position.
