Cosmetic Physician Partners is building a premier network of Physician-led aesthetic clinics throughout the United States. We have partnered with Admire MD Plastic Surgery + Skin Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ and are seeking a Surgical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a certified Surgical First Assistant with a minimum of three years of experience. Must have a love for the aesthetic industry, a willingness to learn and train, and an eagerness to build and grow with us! Responsibilities: Provide care according to physician’s instruction and in accordance with recognized techniques and procedures and established standards and policies to maintain the health and general well-being of the patient Provide preoperative and postoperative teaching for both patient and family members Assist during surgery or other procedures as indicated Set up the patient for surgery including prepping area, draping with sterile drapes, setting up a clean tray with anesthesia, and preparing instruments Scrub in as assistant to the surgeons Hand instruments and cut sutures, keep the operative area clean and organized Administer anesthesia as directed by the physician Prepare equipment and paperwork for surgery Maintain appropriate records and documentation Rooming & completing patient intake/obtaining HPI Scribing while assisting with exams; attention to detail is key Qualifications: Surgical First Assistant Certification – preferred 3 or more years of experience assisting in a range of plastic surgery procedures for face, breasts, and body. Excellent communication skills and follow-through Experience working in a medical spa, dermatology, or plastic surgery office is a plus Experience in performing consultations, cross-promoting services, and skincare products, and the ability to close sales Familiar with EHR software for healthcare systems. Excellent customer service with a patient focus Precision and Attention to Detail Ability to Anticipate Surgeon's Needs Seamless Collaboration in the Operating Room Commitment to Patient Care and Safety Fast and efficient suture techniques and closing incisions.
