Responsibilities:• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lessons for toddlers• Create a safe and nurturing environment for toddlers to grow and learn.• Observe and assess each child's progress and development, and communicate with parents/guardians regularly• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and engaging curriculum• Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and milestones for each child Qualifications:• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with toddlers in a daycare or preschool setting• Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field• Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods• Strong communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to create a safe and nurturing environment for toddlers Competencies:• US Work Authorization Compensation: $18 hourly About Company: Niskayuna Community Day Care Center is a small, not-for-profit organization that has been serving Niskayuna and surrounding area families for over 30 years. We are a play-based Center that focuses on providing a safe and healthy environment for children 18 months-5 years old to learn and grow throughout their day. We are currently running with four open classrooms but we hope to open other classrooms when we have more quality staff that we can trust.
