The ideal candidate must possess excellent academic credentials and strong writing, analytical, and communication skills. They should be a member (in Good Standing) of the Florida Bar or willing to seek admission to the Florida Bar. Duties:Provide legal counsel and support to clients in matters related to affordable housing and tax credit transactionsConduct legal research and analysis on real estate matters, including title and survey issues, easements, and leasesDraft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and closing documentsAssist in negotiations with clients, developers, lenders, and governmental entitiesCollaborate with senior attorneys on complex real estate transactionsAttend meetings, hearings, and closings as required Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolMembership (in Good Standing) of the Florida Bar or willingness to seek admission2-4 years of meaningful experience in real estate lawStrong background in title and survey matters, easements, and leasesExcellent academic credentialsExceptional writing, analytical, and communication skillsAbility to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Certifications:Membership (in Good Standing) of the Florida Bar or willingness to seek admission Skills:Legal research and analysisContract drafting and reviewNegotiation skillsTitle and survey examinationKnowledge of easements and leasesAttention to detailTime management and prioritization This Florida-based law firm represents some of the most successful companies in Florida and offers full-service legal representation on a statewide basis.
