Description Speaks Law Firm is a well established personal injury firm located in Wilmington and Charlotte, North Carolina. We have recently experienced a lot of growth and are adding to our team of attorneys. Our firm is committed to client satisfaction, therefore candidates must have solid personal injury experience. We are looking for a North Carolina licensed Attorney who is in early or mid-career. Acting as an assertive advocate for our clients, the pre-litigation attorney would be joining our team to handle auto liability, premises liability, and commercial claims. Responsibilities Accountable for the medical case management performed by the case managers, case values, utilizing subject matter experts, negotiating claims, referring to and assisting litigation, bi-weekly exceptional case meeting Supervision of one or more case managers Provide guidance on negotiations and ensuring that overall best strategies are utilized and act as mentor to direct reports Collaborates with other firm leadership as an individual contributor to the needs of the organization as it pertains to pre-litigation Assist with exceptional cases at the discretion of the owner or manager Qualifications 3+ years of Personal Injury experience Must be an active member of NC Bar Association Proficiency in writing, research, and negotiation Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills required Must be able to handle complex caseloads with little supervision Superb negotiation skills and experience This job can be conducted in our Charlotte or Wilmington office locations. Remote work within North Carolina is a possibility for the right candidate.
