Hi there, my name is Solstice. I'm an elderly lady at 10 years old. Don't let my age fool you though, I'm still full of life! I'm a talker and am quite opinionated. I will gladly let you know when I'm not happy or when I want your attention. I do not have any teeth, so I'll require wet food only. I am not a fan of other animals; I would prefer to be the only fur baby in the home. I have gotten along okay with my foster mom's older cat, but it's because she leaves me alone; I have my space and she has hers. I would do best as an only pet or with other calm pets that respect my space. My days are spent lounging on the couch or the bed and sleeping. The adoption fee includes vet exam, first set of vaccines, microchipping, Feline Leukemia test for cats, Heartworm test for dogs. Also, includes rabies vaccine and spay/neuter at appropriate age. A completed and approved adoption application is required before meetings are arranged. The foster home is responsible for approving adoptions.Shelter locationAdoption fairs are held monthly at PetSmart, Wilkesboro, NC. Prospective adopters with approved applications will be contacted by the foster homes to arrange meetings.
