Lubbock Campus Worship Technology Director (full-time/salaried)

Objective: Lead the Worship Technology team at the Lubbock Campus. This role requires an excellent audio engineer, who is also responsible for all service programming (lighting, broadcast video etc...) in multiple venues. This person leads the entire Lubbock Campus Worship Technology Team through volunteer recruiting, scheduling, and ongoing training. This is a full-time, salaried role for an individual that is team-oriented, development-focused, and pastoral. Must model initiative, attention to detail, and humility. Experience: Four or more years of experience as an audio engineer preferred. Prefer experience with Digico consoles, Waves multirack, Dante, Broadcast audio mixing Experience in lighting programming for moving fixtures on Vista and prefer troubleshooting experience with Artnet/SACN Broadcast video gear like Ross Carbonite, and Dashboard Volunteer leadership experience Specific Job Competencies: HUMBLE and HUNGRY: This role requires the ability to receive feedback and shows a desire to grow, both professionally and spiritually. SELF STARTER: Able to work cooperatively with a team to initiate projects and create tasks. DETAIL ORIENTED: The Worship Tech Director must be highly adept at paying attention to details, ensuring all technical aspects of the worship service are executed at a professional level. RECRUIT & COACH: Build teams that run all areas for Worship Technology at the Lubbock Campus. Create appropriate serving opportunities for each volunteer, based on their skill set. Provide opportunities for current volunteers to increase their responsibilities TEAM ORIENTED : Work with the Worship Staff at the Lubbock Campus to lead the Worship Technology Team for all services and events, while also helping with any Worship related project at the multi-site level. COMMUNICATE: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed for communication at the campus level with staff and volunteers, as well as with staff at other campuses. Dynamically grow the Lubbock Worship Tech teams and give opportunities for volunteers to learn more in their role, and/or other roles on the team. Recruit volunteers in all areas of Worship Technology at the Lubbock Campus. Evaluate training level of current FOH and BOH audio engineers at the Lubbock Campus. Create a training program to move each of them forward in their knowledge. Use MXU Teams training to give more self-learning opportunities. Assist the Lubbock Worship Staff with cultivating a culture of community among volunteers. Work alongside the HCC Worship Tech team with spec’ing technical gear for any new facilities, and suggesting upgrades at current facilities.
