Hi there! The name's Saguaro, like the cactus, but I ain't prickly; honestly, I'm probably the sweetest gal at the shelter. I am a 3 year old, Mixed Breed girl that came to the shelter after going through a really rough patch, but now I'm ready to change things around and find my special someone. When I arrived at SVASC, I was skin and bones, but thankfully, I just needed some good food; I am still gaining weight, but am getting there and I'm feeling much healthier now, too! I am such a sweet girl and really like to make friends; take me outside to get to know me or offer me a snack and we'll be instant besties! Speak of friends, I am great with other dogs and have even been in a couple play groups at the shelter. The staff still say that it's best to bring other dogs 'round to visit before taking me home, though. They also think that I would be okay with kiddos, as I do have a really gentle demeanor, but bring them along to meet me, too! My adoption fee is $125, which covers all of my vetting.
