WendellHello, I'm Wendall! I lived in my previous home since kittenhood, but I was surrendered after almost eight years. The medical team at HSHC evaluated me and determined that I had urinary crystals, which caused severe pain and discomfort, triggering temporary litterbox issues. Now that the problem has been addressed, I feel much better and always use the litterbox properly in foster care. The special food I'm eating, along with a low-stress environment, helps prevent urinary crystals' reoccurrence. My foster mom says I'm doing very well. I greet her immediately when she comes into my room and am incredibly friendly with lots of rubbing and meowing. She always praises me for being an extremely affectionate sweetheart. I'm slow to warm up but friendly to everyone I interact with. I'm an active fellow who likes to play with toys that chirp. I enjoy catnip and being held. I didn't live with cats in my former home, but we did have a dog, and he was my best mate. We groomed one another and slept on top of each other in a furry stack of tails and whiskers. I haven't spent time around children, but I've heard they're unpredictable and smell like cabbage. Maybe someday I'll find out if this is true or just a rumor. I look forward to meeting my forever family and enriching their lives with unconditional love and appreciation. I may be your guy if you have enough room in your home and space in your heart for a sweet, nearly 8-year-old kitty! 6-26-23
