ADOPT ME ONLINE: https://ophrescue.org/dogs/12508Argus is about 50 pounds of wiggly, happy, awkward sweetness, kind of like that nerdy kid in class who just wants to be loved. He is devoted and would be happy if he could sit beside you and be petted all day long. He is excellent on a leash and can walk miles. He loves his baby pool and spends hours soaking in it on hot days. He would probably also be a great running partner with a little direction. Being just a one-year-old, Argus is still very puppy like - silly, playful, and learning every day. He also still loves to chew, but is easily redirected. Argus is housebroken and crate-trained, up to date on shots, neutered, and microchipped. Basically, ready to go. He is a little hesitant about men, it just takes him a little longer to feel safe around them. He seems to be fine with cats, other dogs, women, and children. Argus has done well in the car and on our in-town adventures (Farmer's Market, winery, visiting shops, attending adoption events), but coming from a rural area of Mississippi, everything is new to him and he'll need you to help him be brave.He is a sweet, loving, and gentle guy looking for a family of his very own.
