My name is Jessie. I am microchipped, spayed, and am vaccinated. This is what Jessie's foster dad has written about her: Her name is Jessie, but we call her Ritz. I usually leave all the kitten stuff to my wife, but she’s my favorite, so I thought I’d let you know why. She’s a very easy cat, she always uses the litter box, and she is quite content to play with a toy, hunt flies, or take a nap in any Amazon box we haven’t thrown out yet. She also loves to sit on my lap. Whether I pet her or not, she’s just happy to be there - purring away or taking a nap. Overall, she’s a pretty mellow kitten except when she’s around the corner of the rug. For some unexplained reason, she feels the need to puff her tail, arch her back, and hop around it - in, I believe, an attempt to intimidate it. All of our pets are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested if over 6 months old and will be spayed or neutered before being allowed to go home. Unfortunately, we don't always know the background of each dog. Some were dumped, abandoned in an empty house, left tied to a tree, picked up by animal control as strays, or simply unwanted by their owners. Please take into consideration that owning a pet is a 10+ year commitment and discuss with all members of your family before submitting an application to adopt.
