Axel one of seven puppies from our Harley Davidson litter, was rescued from a Kansas shelter in July after which the litter came down with parvo and canine respiratory virus. Axel is doing great now and is a healthy boy! Sweet and affectionate, Axel stays close to his people. He'll never turn down a belly rub! A playful, goofy pup, one of Axel's favorite things to do is stand with a front paw in the water bowl while he drinks. He also likes to carry his food bowl around. In his foster home, Axel enjoys playing with other dogs including his brother Cruiser. He loves children and thinks that they are another littermate to play with. Axel has not had one accident in the house and tells his foster mom when he needs to go out. He is crate trained and sleeps in his crate at night. Axel is a good listener and is starting to learn some basic commands. He is so ready for his furever home! Axel is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and up to date on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. He will be adopted on a spay/neuter contract with adopter promising to spay/neuter at a later date and must show proof at that time. *Being fostered in Richmond Heights, MO* Adoption Requirements: A secure and visible fence. In order for your application to be approved, you must pass a home check and a vet check which includes having at least a two year vet history. Adopters can be located in Missouri and surrounding states: Kansas, Arkansas, Nebraska, Iowa, and Illinois. We are also able to transport to New Jersey. Other east coast states will be considered if you are willing to travel.
