Meet Rocky Rodolfo! Rocky Rodolfo was surrendered by his owners who said they didn't have time for him. Volunteers at South LA Shelter advocated for his rescue, describing Rocky as calm, well-behaved, and playful. We scooped him up to become a Frosted Face on June 29th! Rocky Rodolfo is 8 years old and weighs 62 lbs. He is super sweet, friendly, and gives kisses in exchange for scritches! Rocky Rodolfo went on a two-week Frosted Fling so we could learn what he is in a home environment, and his Fling Family had only great things to say about him! "Some people might look at Rocky and see a “big scary dog”. This guy is the epitome of a teddy bear! He enjoys napping and snuggling on the couch and loves sunning himself outside. He enjoys walks as long as we walk slowly and let him sniff around. He is super easy on leash but is a strong guy, so we made sure to focus on him and our surroundings during any walks. Rocky is a giant lovebug with humans! He approached our neighbors very friendly and wanting affection. He also spent some time with a very trusted sitter, and he loved snuggling with her. Rocky LOVES a mirror! He leapt off the back of our couch to get to a mirror we have, but not in an aggressive way - just exploratory. Once he’s used to where they’re at in the house, he will just walk up and stare. It’s really sweet and cute. This giant is so gentle and just wants someone in his life who will give him the affection he craves. I am asking for his future family to please spend daily time snuggling him. It’s clear he is used to being part of a family. He’s amazing in the car, knows sit and ‘leave it’ really well, and learns routine super quickly! You can tell he is housebroken and wants to be a good boy! Rocky is NOT a beggar for food, and he seems to be most motivated by praise and affection.
