Proud Mary is a doting mama cat who is now ready for a home of her own! She was surrendered to a county shelter in early May along with her just born kittens. Now that the kittens are weaned and eligible for adoption, Proud Mary is ready and anxious to find her own forever home!Proud Mary Mama is extremely affectionate, loves pets and back rubs. She has a calm demeanor, but still shows spurts of "kitten" energy herself. She enjoys chasing after her kittens, toys and affection from caregivers. Now that kittens are growing up and more independent, Proud Mary is much more confident and open to the sights and sounds of other resident animals in the foster home, including feline savvy dogs and resident cats. Proud Mary was selective of which dogs / cats she preferred in the foster home and would likely be just as comfortable as a solo cat - to enjoy all of the attention herself of course! Proud Mary has tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, received vaccinations, dewormer / flea treatments and is spayed. Her birthday is approximated in July 2022.
