Registered Welsh/AQHA cross. Tonto is a 2 year old sorrel/overo gelding that is flashy enough to stand out in any crowd. He has been worked from the ground, taken on off site trail âwalksâ, and is currently been working with a trainer for light saddle and harness work, and he is shining as a student!This gelding should mature 14.1 and currently stands 13.2 (dam was 15.1 and Welsh stud was 13.1, he also has a half brother that is 14.1). He is making great strides under saddle, but consistent, competent, training and handling are what will develop him to be a champion.We have plans to train him to drive this fall and use him for trail riding. So far, training has been a breeze with no fireworks. Tonto is located in West Michigan, near Grand Rapids.
