Purpose: Setup and operate a CNC lathe (Mazak), and manual machines such as lathes, mills, and potentially a cylindrical grinder in the manufacturing of light industrial parts. Other duties will include equipment daily pre-run preventative maintenance. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Education/Experience: HS Diploma or GED is required.Machining certificate from accredited program preferred.Experience setting up and running CNC equipment and other manual machining equipment preferred.Experience working in manufacturing preferred. Other Skills: Ability to read engineering drawingsAbility to understand CNC programs and set up sheetsAbility to use quality control devices such as precision measurement gages and instrumentsAbility to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.Willingness and ability to work second shift, 2:30pm to 11:00pmAll salaried new hires must be fully vaccinated or be willing to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, where permitted by applicable law and subject to requests for accommodation.
