Nurse - Rn/Lpn

Description:
Principle Responsibilities:Provide First Aid treatment to injured employees from various parts of the facilityMust be able to carry, lift and maneuver first aid response bag (weighting between 30-40 lbs.), back board, stretcher, AED, wheel chair and any other medical necessities when responding to an accident.Administer, document and track vaccinations (including-Tetanus, Hepatitis B)Perform Drug and Alcohol screening for Powered Industrial Truck operators, and as requiredConduct annual hearing testing for facility employeesAssist in conducting Daily restrictive duty checksMust be able to document and maintain nursing documentation after each employee visit or communicationMust maintain a clean and orderly work areaDeliver courteous and professional communications at all timesNotify the safety department any time there is a serious accidentMust be flexible with work scheduleAnd any other duties as reasonably associated with the above duties as assignedWorking Conditions:Combination of office setting as well as production and maintenance settingsExposure to various chemicals, machinery and knives likelySlippery floors, extreme temperatures and loud noise prevailRequirements:Education:High School Degree/GED equivalency requiredRN/LPN licenseMust be able to read and write EnglishSpanish a plus, but not requiredHours 10pm -6amExperience: Entry levelSpecial Skills: Computer Skills Microsoft Word, Excel, OutlookRelationships: Internal: Daily communication with employees.External: May occasionally communicate with the medical community, Third Party Administrators, etc. JBS is an Equal Opportunity EmployerEOE/VETS/DISABILITY
