Meet Laim! Hi! My name is Liam. I am sure you have heard of me! I was a bit of a Facebook sensation in Sun City, AZ. I was running out of the place with a few other dogs! I gave those humane trappers a run for their money! They thought they would just set a humane trap, and I would walk right in! HA! Silly kids! It took a whole lot more than that! I was humanely trapped with a missy trap. If you don’t know what that is, you should google it! It’s very high-tech! I was NOT happy about that at all. Once I arrived at the shelter, they quickly realized that although I am seriously cool, I had not been socialized with you humans much, and I am working on trusting you. One thing I do know is I love other dogs! I love to play chase and get all crazy in the yard with my besties! I seriously could play all day! Did I mention I LOVE the pool? I have so much fun with my bestie Penny! You should check her out, too; she is living with me at the foster house! Once I get to know you, I will show you my happy dance with my silly smile! My nickname at the foster house is Teddy Bear! I am fluffy and squishy like a big ole stuffed bear! I would love to have a family of my own. As a Facebook sensation, I have a few demands for this new family of mine! The first is I will need to have another young playful dog. I feel most secure when I have another dog around. I have a lot of energy that I need to burn off. I have been working on my leash skills, but I have a little more work to do. Because of that, I CANNOT be taken for walks yet, and it may be a few months. Second, I will need a VERY patient family. I am not going to be that dog that runs and jumps in your arms for a long time. I will need a lot of time to warm up to my family. My new family can’t get frustrated when I don’t progress like they want me to. Third, I will need my new family to push me to do new things. To clarify, this isn’t a demand that I came up with. Those crazy ladies at the shelter are making me ask for this! If you think you can meet these demands lets, get together! It would be AMAZING if you would also come to my foster home a few times before I move in with you. This will give us both time to get to know each other. I will need grooming a couple of times a year. I like my curls to be about ¾ of an inch long. That’s when I look my best! For the most part, I like other dogs but can be picky. A dog intro will be required. I have not been around kids or cats. If you do have kids, it would be best if they were 12 or older. If a door gets left open, I am going for it! I can only go into another home that has an active dog. If you are up for it, my bestie Penny is looking for a place too! Approx. 1 year old and 14 pounds Liam is ready for his forever home since he’s chipped, vaccinated, and neutered! NOTE: Liam is NOT at our shelter.
