Duke is a handsome, happy boy whose silly grin goes from ear to floppy ear! Duke lived in his most recent home for about a year where he did well with kids, mostly ignoring them, and was housebroken and crate trained. His people said that he loves attention, needs toys to keep him busy, and knows basic obedience. Here’s what his volunteer friends have said:“I walked Duke this week and he`s a friendly, polite dog. He was eager to sniff everything in the park and was a nice walker and didn`t pull much. He also enjoyed some pets at the end of our walk.”“Duke is a very happy boy and definitely enjoyed his walk. He loves treats and isn’t shy about asking for them. He will do well with an active family!”Duke has lived with other dogs and has been social when meeting dogs in playgroup. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. He prefers not to share his food (me too!), so needs to be fed separately from other pets.
