**Addictions Psychiatrist Opening in MN**Located in Albert Lea, MN - Minneapolis 95m; Rochester 60mService area of 55,000 peopleFull time, permanent openingResponsibilities: Treatment Programs have more than a 40-year history of providing residential and outpatient addiction treatment for men, women and adolescents in Albert Lea and southern Minnesota. The Albert Lea campus includes residential beds and community-based outpatient programs in the region. The medical director position would include clinical and administrative roles within the multidisciplinary practice in Albert Lea, administrative oversight of the regional outpatient practices, and close affiliation with Addiction Services in Rochester and colleagues in the Division of Addictions, Department of Psychiatry and Psychology. It is anticipated that the position will involve at least 80% time on the Albert Lea campus with the remaining time potentially supporting the addiction practice in Rochester. It includes opportunities in leadership, program development and research within these thriving programs. Education/supervision opportunities are available within the Psychiatry Department residency and addiction fellowship training programs. The position includes an academic appointment in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, rank commensurate with experience. Applicants should demonstrate a strong interest in multidisciplinary clinical collaboration and excellent interpersonal communication and leadership abilities.Candidates must be eligible for licensure in the state of MN and be BC/BE through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Psychiatry and in Addiction Psychiatry.Benefit Eligible YesSchedule - Full TimeRemote Worker - NoSite Description:Albert Lea is a community of 18,000 in scenic Southern MN, surrounded by several lakes and located just 90 minutes south of Minneapolis and 60 miles from Clinic in Rochester.
